The junior high will be spending their field day at Beus Pond Park on May 20th from 9 am to 2 pm. There are lots of shady areas and grassy areas for plenty of games and team sports. Students can also walk out on the dock and cross the steams on footbridges. We are looking for as many parents to volunteers as we can get. If you would be willing to join us on the excursion please contact Ms. Jessica or Ms. Fallon.
If your student needs another permission slip please print one here: Beus Pond

They can bring in a craft project. They can work on school work so that they don’t have any homework. They can play a board game.
Friday: Personal World. This week advisory houses can decide, as a house, how to use their time this Friday.
Dear MMA Community,
The Junior High is leading a bazaar (garage sale with food and craft booths) as a fund-raiser for the 9th grade classes of 2016 and 2017.
The sale will be in the MMA parking lot on Saturday, April 30th from 9am to noon.
There are 3 ways for you to help and support the MMA 9th graders:
1) Donate. Bring items to be sold in the garage sale (no clothing or stuffed animals please).
Good condition toys, games, books, household items, knick-knacks, art, picture frames, sports equipment or other items can be brought to the yurt beginning Monday, April 24th.
Contact Marie Griffith for more information or to arrange storage of larger items:
mgriffith@mariamontessoriacademy.org
2) Buy a Space. For $25, you will be assigned a space (three parking spaces) in the main MMA parking lot to sell your items. You will need to provide your own tables, collect your own money, etc. Spaces must be reserved and paid for in advance by Thursday, April 28. Contact Lora Dipoma to reserve a space and get details: ldipoma@mariamontessoriacademy.org
3) Come to the sale and buy something!
Bring your neighbors and friends too!!
Don’t forget to order a jacket or vest to show support for MMA JRH.
