Fat Boy Fundraiser

Starting May 10th we will be selling Fatboy Ice Cream Sandwiches and Fatboy Nut Sundaes for $25.00 a box. Each box contains 30 delicious Ice Cream treats. All proceeds will go to next years 9th grade trip.

This is a pre-sale fundraiser, which means you will need to collect the money up front.

All checks should be made payable to: MMA Jr. High

All order forms and money collected will need to be returned to the school no later than May 19^th.

Orders will be ready for pick up May 26^th the last day of school in the North Shore Parking lot beginning at 12:45 p.m. Once you pick up your order it will need to be delivered or placed in a freezer within 45 minutes. If you have a cooler to bring to help keep your ice cream cold it will extend your delivery time.

JRH Bazaar

Dear MMA Community,
The Junior High is leading a bazaar (garage sale with food and craft booths) as a fund-raiser for the 9th grade classes of 2016 and 2017.
The sale will be in the MMA parking lot on Saturday, April 30th from 9am to noon.
There are 3 ways for you to help and support the MMA 9th graders:
1) Donate. Bring items to be sold in the garage sale (no clothing or stuffed animals please).
Good condition toys, games, books, household items, knick-knacks, art, picture frames, sports equipment or other items can be brought to the yurt beginning Monday, April 24th.

2) Buy a Space. For $25, you will be assigned a space (three parking spaces) in the main MMA parking lot to sell your items. You will need to provide your own tables, collect your own money, etc. Spaces must be reserved and paid for in advance by Thursday, April 28. 3) Come to the sale and buy something!

MMA’s Literary Magazine

The first-ever Maria Montessori Academy Literary Magazine is published and available for purchase! The MMA Review is a magazine that is made up entirely by student and teacher submissions. This magazine contains original writing, photography, and artwork from students from Pre-K through Grade 9. It is a wonderful display of our students’ creativity. The MMA Review can be purchased from the main office for just $3.00! Please stop by the main office and purchase your copy!! (All proceeds will be donated to the 9^th Grade Trip.)

Original Works packets will be heading home with your students either today or tomorrow. If you would like to order your students art please have your order forms back to the school by Oct. 26th. There will be a table in the front of the school where students can turn in their packets. Also on that table will be extra order forms if your child has done more than one piece of art. For every piece of art that you would like to order you will need to submit an order form. Orders will arrive December 2nd just in time for the holiday season. If you child did not turn in their art there are extra packets at Ms. Jessica’s desk that they can take home and put their art in and bring back to school. Please make sure that any art done at home needs to be on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper. This is an amazing fundraiser for the school please encourage your student to participate. FatBoy Ice Cream Pickup’s

FatBoy Ice Cream orders will be ready for pick up on Friday, May 29^th in the North Shore Parking lot beginning at 12:45 p.m. Once you pick up your order it will need to be delivered or placed in a freezer within 45 minutes.

You may want to bring a cooler to keep yours in while traveling home & delivering your personal orders.

This is a pre-sale fundraiser, which means you will need to collect the money up front. Each Student will be sent home with a Fatboy Fundraiser Order form and an envelope by May 5^th.

All order forms and money collected will need to be turned in to the main office no later than May 20^th. We will also have a table set up in the North Shore Parking lot before and after school on May 20^th for parents or Students to turn their order sheets in at.

Parent Night Tomorrow Evening!

Parents of students planning to go on our 9th grade trip need to attend this meeting. Help establish events that will help these students meet their goals for their 9th grade trip. All 7th & 8th graders are encouraged to attend. We will reveal the location for the 9^th grade 2016 trip & discuss fundraising opportunities and goals to make this trip a memorable experience! Refreshments will be served!
