Due to logistical complications the 7th & 8th grade overnight trip to the Environmental Center (Nov. 5th & 6th) has been canceled. We are hoping that at a future date we will be able to return to the Environmental Center. We apologize for any inconveniences this may caused, and appreciate your patience at this time.
We are planning a potato bar for all Freshman who plan to attend the Freshman Trip. It will be held on November 13th during lunch. Please sign up on the WeJoin to bring an item to add to the potato bar, also make sure that you bring your mess kit.
REMINDER: submissions for the first school literary magazine are due next Friday, November 6th. We will accept original short stories, poems, photographs, and artwork. Submissions can be emailed to LHolliday@mariamontessoriacademy.org OR a hard-copy can be given to me personally. All hard-copies will be returned.
Please sign up for which room you would like to eat lunch in for November. We encourage students to coordinate with friends to select a room that works for them. Please do not sign up more than once, if you do all of your names will be deleted. Also make sure that you sign up with your correct name, all other names will be deleted.

Over the last two day we have had many fabulous experiences at the Farm. Students were able to be one with nature and interact with the environment around them. Please enjoy these pictures. 
Original Works packets will be heading home with your students either today or tomorrow. If you would like to order your students art please have your order forms back to the school by Oct. 26th. There will be a table in the front of the school where students can turn in their packets. Also on that table will be extra order forms if your child has done more than one piece of art. For every piece of art that you would like to order you will need to submit an order form. Orders will arrive December 2nd just in time for the holiday season. If you child did not turn in their art there are extra packets at Ms. Jessica’s desk that they can take home and put their art in and bring back to school. Please make sure that any art done at home needs to be on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper. This is an amazing fundraiser for the school please encourage your student to participate. MMA is putting on a youth volleyball clinic on Oct. 20th, 21st, & 22nd. The clinic is open to Boys and Girls grades 5-9. It will run from 3:15-5:00 pm all three days in the Gym. There is a $30 clinic fee, you may pay online or at the front office. More information is available on the flyer below. There are limited sports available and are given on a first come first served basis. Don’t wait, register now!
