I wanted to let you know about a tentative field trip for Friday, April 21st.  This is an early out day at 1:00 p.m.  Our plan is for student to be dropped off at Ogden Botanical Gardens at 9:00 a.m. and pick up will take place at 12:30 p.m.  We will be doing botany, Earth Day, and service projects this day.  Once the field trip is formally approved, permission slips will be sent home.  I am looking for volunteers.  If you are interested, please send me an email asap.  If need, we may have our room mother help coordinate rides to and from the garden.  Otherwise, you will be responsible for providing a ride for your child.  Please put this date on your calendar.

Wednesday, May 17th, is our field trip to the zoo.  Permission slips were signed earlier in the year.  I am looking for certified drivers who are willing to drive and chaperone for the day.  I am wanting to start solidifying our carpool arrangements as soon as possible.  If you are available to attend, even if you previously confirmed with me, will you please let me know.  When you email me, please let me know how many seats you have available, excluding your own child.   Also, if you are not a certified driver, but interested in attending and possibly carpooling (arranged through our room mother) pleases send me an email.
