A Great First Week

We had a wonderful first week.  It was so much fun getting to know all the new faces and hear from our returning friends about their summer adventures.

If your child still needs their inside shoes, will you please have those by the end of this week.  If you need support getting inside shoes, please feel free to email me and I will see what I can do to support you.

We have our first field trip on Friday, September 21st.  We will be heading to Weber State University for a performance entitled  The Magic Lake.  This will take place in the afternoon.  I am looking for parent volunteers to help drive, we will be leaving the school just before noon.  If you are available, please sent me an email as soon as possible.  In the email, please include how many seats you have available.  I will be sending home complete details and permission slips by the end of the week.

I also wanted to see if I have a parent who would be interested and available to be our room parent.  You will help organize a few events throughout the year and help with any additional support for our field trips.

Our year at a glance can also be found by looking under pages on our blog homepage.  I will notify you of any additional changes to our year at a glance as we continue on throughout the year.

Correction on the Pool Party time

I wanted to let you know that there was a miscommunication regarding the pool party time.  It will start at 7 p.m. and go until 9:00 p.m.

Please note, the school will have a ribbon cutting ceremony for our new addition prior to the pool party at 5:15 p.m. followed by an open house.

Track It Forward

Please visit our school Track It Foward website to sign up for classroom snack.  When you help provide snack for our classroom, it helps toward your 40 hours of volunteer work within our school community. If you have questions how to sign up for Track It Forward please look here.

We will use Track It Foward for sign ups throughout the year for things like snack, field trips, and parent teacher conference.  The link is posted on our classroom blog page, under school links, and can also be found here.  Once you click on the link, look for Ms. Brittany’s snack sign up.  I have placed the sign up for every Monday (even though we may not have school all the days of that particular week), with the exception of August 21st.

If each family could help provide snack for 1 to 2 weeks, we will be covered for the school year.

2018 Back to School

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer! I know many of you are anxious to start another amazing year and are busy with back to school preparations.  It is hard to believe how quickly the time has flown and before long we will be back in the classroom.  I have missed seeing you and look forward to getting to know our new additions this year!

We will be having our Annual Back to School Pool Party on Thursday, August 16th, from 6-8 p.m. at the North Shore Aquatic Center.  I am thrilled to announce Ms. Stephanie Pittman as my assistant this year.  I hope everyone will have a chance to meet her at our annual pool party.

On Monday, August 20th, we will have a sneak peek event to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and drop off classroom supplies.  It will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM with sessions starting every thirty minutes.

School starts Tuesday, August 21st and will be early out at 1:00 p.m. all week long.
