Parent Teacher Conference Update

Engineering Opportunity for Girls
Ms. Amity is very excited to share an opportunity for girls interested in exploring engineering & science. This is an offering for 6th, 7th & 8th graders. It’s local and wonderful. Check it out!

Jr High Lacrosse Game
Come cheer on the Jr High while a few classes play a Lacrosse Game on October 10th. Parents are welcome to come watch!!! Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Game begins at 8:40, shortly after school begins.
Cross Country Regionals
The cross country regional meet will be held at North Davis Prep (1765 W. Hill Field Rd Layton, UT) on Tuesday, October 7th from 4:30-5:30 pm. Please come and cheer on our runners!
Fall Festival
Hello MMA Families!
Fall Festival is Friday, October 24th from 4:30 pm til 7:30 pm! Its the biggest party of the year! We have invited an events company, Custom Events, to come help us make this the best party ever! There will be bounce houses, blow up slides, climbing wall, dunk tank, games and more! Early bird special for wristbands are $7.00 unlimited rides, $10.00 for unlimited rides and games or 4 tickets for $1.00!! The price of wristbands go up $1.00 at the door, so buy them now! Custom Events is giving the school 10% of all proceeds! They will also pay the school an hourly rate, per volunteer, to help manage rides and booths! I am looking for 15 volunteers per half hour to help out.

As a reminder- this Friday, Oct, 3rd the Jr High will be going to JA Biztown. Please arrange to drop your child off at Ogden Front Runner Station located at 2350 Wall Ave Ogden, Utah 84401 at 7:15 am. The students will be transported by Front Runner. Guardians also need to pick up students at Ogden Front Runner at 2:52pm.
Please do not just assume your child has a ride! If you are unable to take or pickup, please visit the WeJoinIn link so they can get a ride from the school and/or brought back to the school from a few Certified Drivers. http://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/tgpjn Once the said ‘carload’ is full, that driver will no longer be available. Please give them plenty of notice so that all students can enjoy this experience.

JA Biztown Field Trip Forms
Permission slips were passed out to all Jr. High students for our upcoming Field Trip to JA Biztown on Oct. 3rd. Permission slips must be returned to Ms. Jaime no later than this Friday Sept. 19th. The students will learn business and economic concepts through simulation to help them understand the economic world.
