7th Grade Field Trip

7th graders have the opportunity of going on a field trip to Salt Lake City tomorrow March 7th. Students will be visiting the state capitol building and the pioneer history museum. Please meet in the Library between 8:15-8:30 where role will be called, then students will board the bus to travel to Salt Lake. Students should bring/wear: Comfortable, modest clothing in dress code, Cold, sack lunch,Something to read/listen to/play/draw in for the bus ride, and a smile.Optional: money for souvenirs at the museum gift shop. If you have any questions please email Ms. Jessica at jatwood@mariamontessoriacademy.org.

Weber High School Field Trip

The 9th grade class will be attending a tour of Weber High School on February 3rd. Your student should have brought home the permission slip earlier this week which contains the details of this trip. The students will be leaving the school at 1 pm and returning to school at 3 pm. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact Ms. Valeri at vcruze@mariamontessoriacademy.org.

Certified Drivers for Farm and NHM

Attached is a link to the We Join In for both field trips next week. I have only had a couple parents volunteer so there are not many spots available. If you are a certified driver and are willing to drive please let me know and I can add you to the list. Students please talk with friends to coordinate rides if you are not able to reserve a spot on the We Join.

Environmental Center Directions

FROM OGDEN CANYON

  • Travel east on 12th street, up Ogden Canyon to Pineview dam.
  • Turn left across the dam (or proceed around through Huntsville if the dam road is closed) and follow the highway to the 4-way stop by Valley Market in downtown Eden.
  • Turn left and drive for 2.9 miles to 4100 N. where there is a 3-way stop.
  • Turn left and travel West for.2 miles.
  • Turn right on 3300 E. and travel North for 1.3 miles.
  • Turn left on 5100 N. and drive West the 1.5 miles to the parking lot.
  • Park your vehicle there and walk the .5 miles up to the Environmental Center.
