This Friday, April 14th is our third grade science fair.  Please make certain your child is prepared with their materials and presentation.

We are now entering our end of year testing window.  Our third grade students are scheduled for the following SAGE tests: Wednesday, April 19th, Writing; Thursday, May 4th, Math; Wednesday, May 10th, Language Arts.  The testing will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the students have until noon to complete the test.  I ask that you help get them to bed early the night before and provide a hearty breakfast the morning of the test.  Also, please be mindful to have them to school on time.  The test is a great way to celebrate all their hard work and demonstrate their knowledge and growth.

Third grade end of year party is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th.  This will take place in the afternoon.  Details and volunteer opportunities will be sent home in the coming weeks.

Third grade bridging ceremony will be Wednesday, May 24th at 10:30 a.m.  This is their graduation ceremony from lower to upper elementary.

Third grade students will be shadowing in the upper elementary classrooms in the coming weeks.  This is a wonderful experience for students to see what upper elementary is like.  Please note, the classroom they shadow in is our upper elementary mentor class and not  their placement for the next year.
