The following Field Experience letter was sent home with your child today.  Permission slips were signed previously.  (New to the class students will receive permission slips).  I am in need of several volunteers for this field experience.  If you are interested, please email me soon, so I can plan accordingly.  Please be aware, you are responsible to provide rides for your own children to and from the Frontrunner station.

at Discovery Gateway

• Students will attend a workshop on simple machines and make connections to their use in their everyday lives.
• Explore the museum and utilize their critical thinking skills through hands on experiences.

• Sack lunch and water bottle (recommend a small backpack to carry these items)
• Dress for the weather
• Comfortable walking shoes

• Students arrive at the Ogden Frontrunner station (2350 S Wall Ave) at 8:10 a.m.
• Leave Ogden Frontrunner station at 8:37 a.m.
• Arrive at 9:30 a.m. at the North Temple Frontrunner station and walk .04 miles to the Discovery Gateway
• Attend Discovery Gateway from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Student will gather after for lunch, break, and walk back to North Temple Frontrunner station.
• Depart North Temple Frontrunner station 2:01 p.m. and arrive at Ogden Frontrunner station at 2:52 p.m.

Parents are to arrange own transportation to and from the Ogden front runner station
