Dear Parents,
Due to the upcoming spelling bee on February 25th, we have changed the date of our field trip to Monday, February 24th. I have updated the forms on the blog to reflect the accurate date. Please print off the new permission form and return with your child as soon as possible. Please review the field trip cover letter thoroughly for the schedule of when your child needs to arrive at the field trip location and be picked up and returned to school. If you are interested in attending the field trip with your child, please let me know.

Storytelling Festival Fieldtrip Permission Form
Spelling words:
List A: bench, chop, chin, lunch, bunch, branch, chimp
List B: clown, owl, brown, cow, mouth, spout, cloud, hound
List C: attract, crew, dangle, drift, event, launch, opposite, reverse, signal, steer
Any student who would like to try out for the spelling bee this week will not be required to study their individual spelling list. They should instead focus on studying the Scripps spelling list that was sent home a couple weeks ago. I will be testing those students on the Scripps words this week to determine which two students will be competing in the school-wide spelling bee on February 25th.
Dear Parents,
We will be attending the Storytelling Festival on February 24th. Please open the link below for information. Please print, sign, and return the permission form.
Thank you,
Ms. Krista
Updated Forms with correct date
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a fun breakfast on Thursday, Feb. 13 (The day before Valentine’s Day). We will be sending home a card with a specific item for each child to donate to the breakfast. The children really enjoy these activities and we so appreciate your support. Students can bring valentines and a decorated container that day as well. There are 23 students in the class.
Thank you for all your support!
Ms. Krista
