I have also asked the students to share a favorite book to the class next week on Thursday and Friday. (I’ve posted a schedule below). I would like them to bring the book, if possible, and tell the class a little about it and why it is their favorite. Several students asked if they could bring an art project to accompany their presentation. Yes, absolutely! I love to see their creativity.

We learned how to “think like an author” today with Gary Hogg. That’s Haven and John from our class!
Today we learned about the hemisphere’s of the Earth. This semester we will be studying Asia, so the children created their own eastern hemisphere.
There is no school on Monday. Have a great labor day weekend!
