Back to School Night

Back to school night is this week!  It is from 6:30-7:30.  If you are a level 1 parent or new to our school, it is highly advisable that you attend, so you can see our classroom, get to know our procedures, and ask any questions.  I will be there too, along with Ms. LaVonna and Ms. Anna.  Come at 6:30 to look around and ask questions.  We will begin our overview of the classroom around 6:45pm

Race for the Redwoods 5K!  Support Our 6th Graders!

We have our annual 5K coming up soon!  Come support our 6th graders field trip to the Redwoods this coming spring!  Please see the registration form below and turn it in to our office!  The 5K will be September 13th (Wednesday) and the race begins at 4:00pm.

Call for Parent Volunteers!

I will be needing some parent volunteers to put together the student’s Math and Language binders.  I am updating the files I created last year for their language binders and should have them ready by the end of this week.  I will be picking up one of the student’s Math and Language binder, so I can make a master and anyone who would like to help will know how to put them together.  Please email me directly at kparsons@mariamontessoriacademy.org or you can let me know at back to school night on Thursday if you would like to help.  Date TBD the week of the 8th.  Time will commence after school, starting at 3:30pm.  The more helpers we have, the faster everything will go.

Home Projects

Every year, I send out a home projects schedule.  I will be working on this while home and the first one will be in November, right before Thanksgiving break.
