Today, October 3 our school had a “real lock down.”

Everything is secure and all is well. I know parents where notified today by the school but just wanted to express my thoughts too.

The children were very well behaved. This initially was intended for a practice drill but as notified by Police Department we were asked to remain in our “lock down” state.

We have wonderful staff who monitor our safety here at school.  I would like to thank you for being understanding and following what was asked by the information you received by our school.

I will discuss this topic today in our “circle time.” The students are very well aware that we do these practices for their safety and for their knowledge so they are prepared.
