9th Grade Students and Families,
Don’t forget that your signed intent form, and $50 down-payment for your 9th grade field experience is due by next Monday, October 3rd. Turn the signed intent form into Ms. Jessica in the Yurt. Your $50 down-payment can be paid in the Main Office with cash, check, or card. This down-payment can also be paid online with a card.

Please sign up for which room you would like to eat lunch in for the month of OCTOBER. We encourage students to coordinate with friends to select a room that works for them. Please sign up once, if sign up more than once all of your names will be deleted. Also, make sure that you sign up with your correct name, all other names will be deleted. The sign up will close the morning of October 1st, students who do sign up for a room will be assigned one by Ms. Jessica.

Beginning Wednesday, September 21st, MMA will be offering our families the opportunity to purchase a rice bowl from Rumbi Grill every Wednesday for their child’s lunch. All proceeds from the purchases will go towards our 6th and 9th grade end of year fieldtrips. Your choices will consist of:

Monday: Academic lesson on how to identify the barriers that stand in your way of accomplishing your goals.
Tuesday & Thursday: Work cycles (students can use the entire class time to finish school work, organize study groups, work on group projects & prepare for any needed re-assessments.
Wednesday: Team building activities outside by house
Friday: We will be learning a song in preparation for International Peace Day (Sept 21st. 10am) working on our Original Works projects, and/or offering service around the school.
We are in need of wiring and wood to complete our compost bins. We have a volunteer who will help build the lids and doors once we obtain the materials!
