Happy Leap Day today. Welcome March tomorrow. It is getting warmer, but still chilly. Please continue to send your children with weather appropriate clothing for recess.
Monday is Dr. Seuss’ birthday. We will be doing some activities and reading Monday afternoon to celebrate this.
Thank you to everyone for your support this past week in celebration of literacy week. Our literacy committee did an amazing job planning things to help kids celebrate reading and develop a greater love for it. Thank you to all who were able to attend literacy night with your kids. It was a lot of fun.
Just a reminder that you can still buy your tickets for the upcoming GALA. The GALA is Saturday, March 21 from 6-9 pm at Timbermine Steakhouse. Not only is the GALA one of our biggest fundraisers for the school, but it is also a lot of fun. There is always good food, good company, and great things to bid on. Please attend if you are able. You can also still donate things for our class basket until this Thursday. Our basket is family fitness. We have a few items but would always love more. This Thursday is also the next MAPA meeting at 5:30 pm. All are welcome. This is their annual meeting and also when they will be putting all the baskets for the GALA together.
We do not have school, Friday March 13. This day is a professional development day for teachers.
