January Home Project

Greetings,

In celebration of the New Year, January’s home project will be personal interest based. This is a chance for your child to guide the topic of their choice. Our goal is the teach students to love to learn. The sky is the limit on this project. Let me know if you have questions. It is the same format: written work on the research and visual aide. The child will present to the class.

Thank you,

Ms. Holly

Happy New Year!

Hello All,

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas break. I’m so excited to see your beautiful children again soon. It’s going to be an amazing year. Thank you for sharing your child with me. They are so wonderful. I love watching them grow and learn.

Ms. Sara and I want to thank you all for your awesome gifts. We have thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you for helping your child be successful with their home project for the International Festival. They all did a great job creating and presenting their projects.

Thank you for your support. We are so grateful for what you do to help with our school community.

Have a wonderful day!

Ms. Holly

3rd Grade Typing Homework

Hello 3rd Grade Parents,

Please keep a look out for an email (technology@hwtears.com). This will allow your child to work on typing and get them prepared for end-of-year testing. They will have weekly assignments. Some of the students are behind and should be on week 11. They can work on their typing until they are able to catch up. When they see “stop,” this will notify them they are caught up.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Home Project

Hello,

The November home project will also be presented for the International Festival December 19th and 20th. Please make sure your child has their project finished and at school by December 16th. Your child needs to choose a country in Africa. They need a visual aide and their written research. They will present to their classmates and at the International Festival. Let me know if you have any questions. I will send more information regarding the International Festival soon.

Thanksgiving Book Feast

Greetings,

This Friday we will be having a Thanksgiving Book Feast.  Students may bring books from home to read and share with their classmates.  They may bring a small pillow and/or blanket, but it must be able to fit into their lockers.  If you choose, your student may bring a healthy snack to share.

Original Works Project

Parents,

If you are interested in ordering from the original works project, please do this by Monday. They will close the gallery and you will miss out on this opportunity. This was sent home about a month ago with your child’s art work and order form. You are able to order a variety of things with your child’s art printed on it at their website. Great ideas for Christmas gifts.

Thanks,

Ms. Holly
