I hope you are all enjoying this weekend.

Thank you to all who were able to donate jars and flowers. We decorated the jars and delivered them with flowers to everyone who works at the school. So many of them said it was wonderful and thanked me, but truly it was the students who should be thanked. They worked hard together.

Just a reminder that the box tops store is this Wednesday the 22.

We have a field trip to the dinosaur park on Monday, May 11. The permission slip will be coming home the week before.

The next home projects will be due the week of May 11. for this final home project it will be student’s choice. They can pick to do their report on what they want as long as it is school appropriate. Please make sure they find at least 5 facts about whatever they choose. For example, if they want to present on somewhere they went for a trip, include some fun facts about the place.

Hello All,

What a great week back from spring break. I am so glad we got some rain but I also love the sunshine.

I have enjoyed all the home projects that have been presented so far. Please feel free to send them in next week if your child has been unable to finish theirs. Our next home projects will be your child’s choice. I will have more information on that next week.

Don’t forget that Monday is the last day to order something with your child’s artwork on it. A green plastic bag went home with the art piece, order form, and information. All proceeds from that go to our classroom. Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome back from spring break. I hope you all enjoyed the time off with your children.

Reminder that home projects are due this week.

The fundraiser for our classrooms went home today. Your child brought home a green bag with their artwork and the order information. If you choose to order something with your child’s art one it, please send the order form, the artwork, and a check to MMA back to school by next Monday. You can also order something with other children’s art on it. Some kids said they wanted to order something with the picture I made on it. I told the students I would leave that choice to you. I will not be offended in the least if you do not order something with my picture. If you want something with mine, let me know and I will send home another order form for it. All proceeds for this fundraiser go to our classroom so we can use the money specifically for us.

We will be doing a service project with Ms. Nicoletta’s class next Friday. We need glass jars for it. If you have some you can donate please send them. They can be mason jars, pickle jars, etc. They just need to be glass. Thanks.

Hello,

Spring is here! We had such a good day at school yesterday. We enjoyed lunch in the sunshine and had a blast with the new playground that is right outside the door by our classroom. We also learned a bit about Egypt and are in the process of decorating sarcophaguses. It was great to watch the kids work together on them.

Don’t forget about home projects. We have had some good ones already.

Next week, March 30 – April 3 is spring break. We will not have school that whole week.
