Unit 1 Assessment

We are nearing the end of our Unit 1. Hooray! The German students have worked so hard and have learned a lot of new vocabulary. We will be assessing our mastery of the new information on September 28th. In order to prepare for the assessment, we will be having a review day on September 26th. Here is what was covered in Unit 1 and will be on the assessment:

  • Greetings
  • Goodbyes
  • My name is…
  • What’s your name?
  • Alphabet
  • #s
  • German Geography (from the map handed out in class)
  • Dialogue 2 Vocab (entschuldigung, danke, bitte, oder, gerne, und etc.)
  • Colors
  • Family

Also note that at the end of each unit we will be turning in our notebooks that hold notes and the bell ringers. These will be returned to students the following class period. Notebooks are due September 28th.

Guten Morgen

Hello hello students and parents! We had almost all of our students pass off numbers 1-20 on Tuesday. Way to go German students! That is a great accomplishment. We are now working on colors. Here is a link to the song we listened to in class that introduced colors.

Servus!

Hello again students and parents. In class we are learning numbers! This is a lot of new information and vocabulary, so students need to be practicing this information at home. Students will need to pass off numbers 1-20 to Frau BreAnn on Tuesday, September 12th. Here is a video showing the numbers up to 20. Thank you! 🙂

Guten Tag

Hello students and parents. In class we have been working on the ABCs and the correct German pronunciation of each letter. Students are encouraged to review this information by listening to the German ABC song a few times at home.
