I hope all is well with each of you. I hope your Thanksgiving Break was fun and relaxing. I spent my break in Seattle. I enjoyed the nature trails and walking the beaches of the Puget Sound; I even saw a seal! It rained and rained though.
Anyway, so coming up is a surprise field trip. I got the opportunity to take the class to the Nutcracker on December 5th. Field trip forms will be coming home tomorrow (Tuesday). We are running out of field trip funds so a three dollar donation for the trip would be greatly appreciated. We will need to arrange rides so if you think you can drive to this one that would be great. Unfortunately we don’t have enough tickets for parents so it would be just a drop-off and pick-up situation. I’ll check the form but I think it is a drive at ten and pick up at one situation. I apologize for the short notice but I thought it would be well worth it for the students to see the production.
Our Thanksgiving feast was amazing! Thank you so much for providing that experience for our class. It means a lot to all of us.
Remember the country study is the next home project and is due December 12. I will post the rubric on a country study page at the top of the blog so you have access to it.
Thank you for all you do.
