My name is Michelle Olsen. I was born and raised in Roy and have lived in many areas in Northern Utah. I received my Bachelors of Science degree from Weber State University in Biology Composite Teaching. I had the amazing opportunity to work alongside professors and other students during the Ritchey Science and Engineering Fair at Weber State University. I also volunteer every summer during the Antelope Island Spider Festival. Spiders are fascinating creatures and I love sharing what I know about them.
I love Winter! I am an avid snowboarder and am always looking forward to Utah’s awesome winters. I grew up enjoying the snow at Powder Mountain and will always have a special place in my heart. I also enjoy kayaking, river rafting, insect collecting (that’s right, I absolutely love insects!!), plant identification and hiking.
I am new this year to the Maria Montessori Academy family. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and being a part of this wonderful team!
