Week of February 18, 2019

Hello Parents,

We want to thank you for all the help we received for the Valentine’s Day party, with providing supplies, food, time and energy, etc. It was a fun day and we could not have done it without your support. We also want to thank you for taking the time to visit with us for Parent Teacher Conferences. We enjoyed our time with you as we talked about your sweet children and their successes, and struggles.

There will be no school on Monday, February 18 due to President’s Day. This week in geography/biomes we will continue our study of Oceania, particularly the animals that live in the wet lands of Oceania. In zoology, we will talk about the parts of an amphibian (probably the frog). In science, we will continue to learn about day and night. On Friday, we will do art work inspired by the work of Vincent van Gogh and we will also have guests, Riverton Music, come in for our music time to teach us more about base instruments. Also on Friday in the AM class we will be having our class pictures taken. This will go in the yearbook. The PM class pictures will be scheduled at another time.

Have a great week!

Ms. Martha, Ms. Valerie & Ms. Kimber
