4th grade science

All fourth grade students have been learning about fossils. They are learning how they are created, where they came from, etc. Students have now finished their unit about fossils. They are now moving into the Water Cycle and how it rotates and the order the cycle goes in! 4th graders are creating their own water cycle models in science this week and also participating in a class wide science experiment on physical science! 4th graders have now moved onto their unit on weather! They will be discovering how weather works and the different aspects that go into weather.

5th grade science

All fifth grade students have been learning about matter. What matter is, the states of matter, particles in matters, chemical and physical changes, etc. Students have been conducting a few experiments to prove things about matter. Students have finished up their matter unit and are now beginning to learn about Earth Surfaces for this week. 5th graders are wrapping up their Earth Surface’s unit by creating their own personal Volcanoes while also participating in a class wide science experiment on physical science! 5th graders will be beginning their unit on Magnets!

6th grade science

All sixth grade students have learning about the moon phases and have now moved into solar systems. Students have been taking notes on important traits and information about solar systems. They will be creating their own solar system in class next week for science. 6th graders are wrapping up their Solar System Unit by creating their own personal solar systems and also by participating in a class wide science experiment on physical science! 6th graders on now beginning their new unit on Matter starting this week!
