It was brought to my attention that I didn’t post the due dates for the STEM projects on the last post. PROJECTS FOR ALL GRADES ARE DUE THE 10th.
4th grade update:
Fourth graders and I sat down today to discuss materials for the Mousetrap cars. They created a detailed list of what they needed:
- Balsa wood or Stiff foam for the car body
- a mousetrap (or two to compensate for mistakes)
- dowels, straws, pencils, or whatever round stick-like object they would like to use for axles
- something to use for wheels (CDs, records, etc)
- A string
- A way to attach it all together (nails, screws, tape, etc.)
