Hello!
The start of a new school year is upcoming rapidly, and I am so excited to finally get to meet all of you! This blog is where all our main communication will happen, so make sure you subscribe so you can receive updates. I hope to update on a weekly basis so you are always in the know about what is happening in our classroom. I hope to meet everyone in person at the Back To School Pool Party on Tuesday, August 15th from 7-9 PM at the North Shore Aquatic Center in North Ogden. It will be a great opportunity to swim, to meet new friends, and to support the school by signing up to volunteer and by purchasing school spirit shirts.
Alright, now for the stuff you really wanted to know all along: The school supply list!
If your child attended last year, and their supplies are in good shape, please feel free to use them again this year. As you purchase clothing items, please make sure to refer to the school’s dress code, which you can find here.
You do not need to label each item individually with your child’s name. Please see the preparation instructions below the list.
- 24 Ticonderoga pencils
- 25 sheet protectors
- 2 packages 5 tab dividers with pockets
- 1 package 150 count wide ruled notebook paper
- 2- 1 ½ white 3 ring binders
- Lunchbox
- Reusable water bottle
- Slippers – please see dress code guidelines
- Pencil pouch (with zipper)
- 1 – 5 subject spiral notebook
- 3 wide ruled composition notebooks
- 1 highlighter (any color)
- 2 packs of glue sticks
- 1 – 12 inch ruler
- 1 package dry erase markers
- 2 boxes Kleenex
- 1 roll paper towels
- Markers
- 4 x 4 graph paper
Optional but helpful:
- Handheld pencil sharpener
- Low profile clipboard
- Flash drive
- Comfortable pair of scissors – no safety scissors please
- Clorox wipes
The only items that should be labeled with your child’s name are listed below, everything else will go into the classroom supply cupboard for later use.
Working Binder
- Label the spine with first and last name
- Place 5 dividers in working binder
- Divide package of lined paper evenly between all sections
Portfolio
- Label the spine with first and last name
- Place 5 dividers into portfolio
- Place 5 sheet protectors behind each divider
Pencil Pouch (with zipper)
- Label with first and last name
- Colored Pencils
- Pencil Sharpener*
- Flash Drive*
- Highlighter
- Scissors*
