Dear Parents,

Just a quick reminder home projects start on Monday. Please notice when your child will be presenting. It is their responsibility to create the project, and bring it to school.

Dear Parents,
Don’t forget to get your Gala tickets now before prices go up! MAPA and the GALA committee will be available to sell tickets all through PTC, or you can order them now using the below link.
Also, don’t forget to order the 2014-2015 Hardcover Yearbook (Not for Junior High).  Early bird order season is past but it isn’t too late to order.  Yearbook orders are available until April 28, 2015.  Yearbooks are $25 this year, $30 if you want your student’s  name on the cover.  This year’s book is amazing, plus it will last for a long time because it will have a HARDCOVER on it instead of the soft/paper cover we are used to.  The hardcover and the additional pages is why it is $5 more than years past.
Thanks,
Miss Else

Dear Parents,

For Valentine’s Day, we will be decorating our own bags, I will provide the bags. Several students wanted to bring their own box or bag to decorate but since we will be doing them on Friday; it is not required. I told them it is their responsibility if they want to bring something additional to what I will be providing. After the bags are decorated, I would like each student to bring  thoughtful items to fill the bags. This doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, just something simple like a note, a baked good, or a homemade craft. I want to teach the children, this is about showing other students how we care for them, more about the gesture than the item. Please do not send candy. We have several students who are in a “no candy for a year challenge”, and would prefer to not have the temptation. I appreciate it! We will have the bags done by Friday, and the following week (Monday-Thursday) students can bring their goodies. We will be looking though the bags and having a little celebration on Thursday.  We have 27 students in our class. I will post a roster of the students names, if needed!

Thanks,

Miss Elise

Dear Parents,

The theme for February’s  home projects is LOVE. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I asked the students to share with us something they truly love. We discussed it could be anything from a family member to a sports team.  The format will continue to be, very open-ended, posters, pictures, costumes, etc. I look foreword to learning even more about your children, this up coming month. Please email if you have any questions. I will be posting the official schedule next week.

Thanks,

Miss  Elise’
